I hadn't run in quite some time and this one felt pretty good. It had been too long due to weather (I should have run), Vegas (I could have run), illness (I'll give myself a pass), and some other after-work activities (those are healthy in a different way). No more excuses though as I have to get back to it. Kelsey V. has been kicking my ass exercise-wise. I had put on a bit of weight over the last month and a half as I hadn't been able to run as much as I wanted due to some health issues, but I've been able to take a bit off even without running the last few weeks due to managing my eating and ingesting healthy amounts of SOUP!!

One of the memorable things about this run was when I went past a line of parked motorcycles by Montrose Harbor. One of them was a later model Triumph Tiger like mine, except that I'm not sure it had much OEM equipment left on it. It was really stripped bare and it looked like some of the parts had been salvaged from random other bikes. The gas tank was faded orange and the engine looked like it was swapped from a Harley. It was very strange.

It turned into a beautiful evening after the storm clouds came through and left a few drops on everyone. I hope you got out and enjoyed it.

A wise person once told me to not "should" on myself. Same goes for would-a's and could-a's. Aaron, embrace those ah-hah runs! I'll keep watching your training. Keep it up!

We both got out and got good runs in today so all is back to even. Proud of you, as always, Aaron! Great job getting those miles in! :)
