Great swim today in the Chesapeake Bay - gotta love those open water swims!
I met Chrissie Wellington!!! :D She's just starting her book tour and the first stop was Columbia, MD. She gave a great talk, and I can't wait to read the book.
Wow this was a hilly run course. Glad I had friends to drag my butt up all those hills :P Would not have pushed myself to do the whole course otherwise!
Great run!

To make up for not finishing the run bike run, I hopped on the trainer!
Great run portion of the run-bike-run... before it started pouring! Got through the run but then it was wayyyy too rainy to bike. So I went home and had popcorn :P

Easy birthday ride! Wanted to do an epic 22 mile swim/bike/run mini-tri, but thought better of it in light of my race tomorrow :)
RBR total time: 1:07:58 - a PR! Ran my little heart out - and this run caps off my 21st year! Passed a bunch of people, and kept up the pace even on the rough hills in the 2nd mile. Speed was so co... read more
Biked with Dad Don M. for this part of the workout - he totally left me in the dust in the last lap. Go dad! Very happy with this effort.
Great run. Hope the rain was fun though.
