- Join us for the Official Dailymile 2012 Boston Marathon Meetup at Julep Bar, 200 High Street, Boston; located about a mile from the race expo. The event is scheduled from 6pm to 9pm and appetizers (Hand Tossed Pizza, Hummus with Pita Chips, Crispy Chicken Tenders) will be served with cash bar service. Cover charge for the event is $10. Here's a great opportunity to meet fellow friends and Dailymilers as well as get pumped up for that weekend's events. over 1 year ago@Tiph--DM Meetups are events for ALL DMers. Major events like Boston make it easier to host these type of functions because most establishments need RSVP counts in advance and Boston's meetup has been a strong draw for the past 2 years. You are definitely welcome to attend; would love to have you there.

over 1 year agoI'd love to meet DM friends in Boston but my flight isn't arriving until 7:30 PM Saturday. Sounds like a good way to unwind from the trip if I could get there a little earlier!

over 1 year ago@Norman M--There are no formal plans for a second meetup right now, but someone may take that on. Last year, there was an informal second meetup at the expo on Sunday afternoon, so keep your ears peeled. I'll post an update here if that happens. Sorry that we'll be missing you this go around; maybe next year.

about 1 year ago@Brian, Sorry can i just get a confirmation on the day and time. In the time field i see Sunday 11 AM but in the description its 6pm and i see comments regarding Saturday.... I assume the time field is being displayed in my local time and its actually scheduled for Saturday Night from 6pm... If so then I look forward to meeting some fellow DM"ers but being out and about too much on Sunday is a no-no for me.
about 1 year ago@Paul--The meetup is scheduled for 6pm to 9pm on Saturday night, Eastern Time. The 11am time you're seeing is probably default for your time zone. Having the meetup on Saturday allows runners to get their rest on Sunday and time for final preparations. Hope to see you on the 14th. Thanks for the RSVP.
