  • Hi Donnetta,

I'm on Week 8 so far after starting from the couch. It's a tough but rewarding program!
Have you started the program and if so, what wee are you in?

    Feel free to add me!

  • I have been doing this for some time. I started last year when I could not even do week one all the way. I am up to being able to do week three comfortably and may be ready to move to week four soon. It's a great program. Some nights I will do two back to back (week one usually) just to have a long workout. Glad to see another person using it!

  • I'm at week 6 and loving it !!! First time ive managed to stick with an exercise program since high school! I like that it is a very gradual start... This way I've managed not to hurt myself, and even my "Bum knee" feels OK.

  • Just started week 4. Going well so far. The 5min run parts from the workout last night were tough. The last time I ran any distance regularly was 2007 for about 2 months in June and July, and before that 2003 from May to August/Sept. Back then I could easily do 3miles at a 6.5mile/hr pace. Trying to build back up to that without injury especially knee problems.

  • I am on week 5 day 2 (tomorrow). Noticing some big inches coming off me quite quickly. Oh how I love running. Hit my runners high or second wind or whatever one calls it for the first time yesterday!

  • I just started 5th week. 3rd and 5th are somehow always the toughest weeks for me (I run this program each spring, although now after 2yrs gap). Must be when I'm hitting some internal barrier and need to push through.

If needed, I'll repeat week 5 until I can properly run it.
