Welcome to the group, intro thread

Hey everyone, hopefully a few will join this group so we can discuss training schedules and events etc. I'm Jeff, I recently started road riding and I am training for this years Tri-State Seacoast Century starting in New Hampshire.
I have been looking for a reason to get into this sport and I signed up for Team in Training with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, so I have a good reason to stick with it. Good luck to all.

  Getting ready to do my first century September 7th. Did a lot of mountain biking (well, the best you can do in the Midwest) the last few years. This is my first real season on a road bike.

  Nice! What kind of bike did you get and how do you like the road side of things? It's my first season as well, mostly I rode BMX(street/freestyle stuff) up until this year.
