Goals for Next Week (2/1-2/7)

I'll be starting Week 4 of Couch to 5K and generally trying to improve my fitness. This is always a point where I tend to slack off. Plus I have a hectic work schedule next week. So, I thought it might be of benefit to post some goals in a semi-public forum. Anyone else interested in doing the same?

My goals for the week:
* Complete all 3 C25K Week 4 workouts
* Complete a minimum of 8 miles
* Do 2 additional workouts- cardio, strength, etc.- Most likely the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred DVD- she is brutal!

Yes, I'm a beginner! I'd love to see what you more accomplished runners and walkers hope to achieve this coming week.

  • I thought I already responded to this, but I guess not.

    We finally got snow, so the ground is nice and slippery. Not sure how much walking I'll be able to get done this week, so I'm keeping my walking goals on the conservative side.

    Neighborhood Walk (about one hour): Three times
    Beyond Basic Yoga: Twice
    Fitness DVD (either The Firm or Cardio Dance): Twice

  • This is what I'm thinking: Tuesday basketball, Wednesday C25K week 3, Thursday: the gym, either basketball or regular workout, Friday C25K week 3, Saturday basketball, Sunday C25K week 4.

    All the running depends on the weather, basically as long as it's not snowing and the sidewalk isn't covered in ice I expect to get my ass outside.

  • I like this idea. We should do it each week. My work travel has picked up, and I'm bad about using that as an excuse not to run.

    Monday - traveling
    Tuesday - hopefully 3 miles (probably on a hotel treadmill)
    Wednesday - traveling
    Thursday - tennis
    Friday - three miles
    Saturday - working on the house to get ready to sell
    Sunday - working on the house and watching Super Bowl.

  • All good goals- Here's to a great week of staying on track. I hope the weather holds out for everyone- I know it has been a huge pain for most of the country.

  • Hey everyone! We're at mid-week now & I just wanted to check in. I'm on target with my goals for the week. Just 1 more C25K, 1 more fitness (damn Jillian Michaels- she's brutal!), and at least 3 more miles. I hope you're all having a good week!
