2010 Running Resolutions Let's get this party started!

It is a good idea to write down your running resolutions for the new year. I found it a good idea to decide to run a race. You need a goal to work for. When I coached I had my runners write down their goals. I made copies of them and kept them to see how well they were doing. It kept them motivated. My main goal is to to maintain my current weight which I worked so hard to get to. To do so I will continue my interval training because it works for me. Interval training sites can be found on my Track & Field page: http://cybraryman.com/trackandfield.html

  • I'm running on May 2nd - want to break 30 minutes in an "official" race - I did break 30 the other day but need to make sure I'm running 3 times a week, no excuses! Haven't been as consistent as I need to be this January! Also got Nike + ipod - love it.

I am amazed you have time to breathe with all of the different things that you do. It is not a good idea to get too run down because that is when you get sick or injured. My school attendance record was great because I kept myself in great shape, ate properly and tried to get enough rest. When I got tired I knew it was time to lay off exercising at a high level. Stay well and keep on tracking!
