Hi Allison:
I have four children and am 12 weeks pregnant with my fifth-I am still breastfeeding - I have to use Wacoal sports bra and a compression ]bra over it - the Wacaol has underwire which helps alot...I think what keep me running is the feeling that no matter was disasters happen with my kids throughout the day, I still feel like I accomplished a personal goal - with kids its rare that you can complete a whole thought, much less a whole chore or activity, without getting interrupted...I really enjoy the time alone and the feeling of completion.
Every day its hard for me - I am carrying around 40 DDDs so Im no waif - but I always feel great after - Get out there - even a mile or tow - and walking - whatever, until you can start to run again

I am in the same boat, having given birth two weeks ago. I have the motivation, but am concerned about being a breastfeeding mom and finding the right support to make runs comfortable. Being a large-breasted lady to start with, fidning the right running bras is already a challenge for me. Enell makes some hardcore bras and a lot of women like Moving Comfort. I also suggestion checking out Title Nine and seeing what kinds they have that might work for you. The most common advice I hear is to nurse before you go out to make it more comfortable.
I hope I was somewhat helpful.

thanks ladies!! I just got my new sports bra last night and it really does hold my milk factory in place!! I just need the motivation to get out there and run in the evenings.. I only get a few hours a night with my little girl and feel guilty taking that time away from my hubby.. we will work something out though, I need to get rid of this silly belly..

I'm right there with you. I've been trying to get back into running and have found if I make it fun for my older daughter by going to the park (she's 7) she motivates me to get there. It's hard but totally worth it. Also, if you go with your baby they say it's very good for them to be out doors and entertained by nature. I keep reminding myself that I am setting a good example for her as well by getting her out there! I also breastfeed too! :)

For my motivation, I set a very measurable goal. Signed up for a race and let my friends know about it, and now how long I want to take to finish it. Now there's no going back! ;)
Good bras take some hunting, but they are out there. I also like underwire in a sports bra while nursing.
