When / Where are you going to be? Let's get together for a casual (or not-so-casual) run.

Post conferences, events, locations and let's run together.

  • I will be at SDTConf in Pittsburgh. Looks like we may be getting a Friday run together. Who's interested?

I am hoping to make CodeMash 2010 as well. January in Ohio can be rough, but I'll need to get my runs in anyway. Anyone interested? If I am presenting, I'll be there for sure. If not, I will have to check budget/schedule.

What day do you arrive? I hear there is a trail nearby that is good for a run.

I'm good for Friday evening, Saturday, or Sunday.

    Corey - what about you?

    Anybody else?

  • Friday before, or after the conference? Sunday would be good for me also. Saturday is out; I have to leave the conf early that day.

    SDTConf runners:

We will run Saturday morning at 7am.

The SDTConf site recommends the DoubleTree. So we will start our course from there. I will follow-up shortly with a map of the course.

This is our course. I don't know Pittsburgh well. The course looked good on Google Maps. Sidewalks the whole way and not too much difficulty. There are hills; can't avoid them in Pittsburgh.

The course is a little less than 3.1 as mapped. We will meet at the DoubleTree entrance on Tunnel St. at 7am Saturday morning. This should give everyone time to run, shower, and get to breakfast by 8:30am.

    See you there!!

  • SCNA has an official 5k run on the schedule. Looks like this trend is catching on. From casual side runs to conference recognized events. Awesome!
