Both are great depending on what you want out of the trail. Kennesaw certainly has the more groomed trail where Sweetwater offers more miles on single track. Both parks have plenty of incline, if you are looking for hill training. Red Top has the most scenic views of the three.
Just outside the perimeter, you have the Sope Creek trails. You'd be amazed at the miles of single track hilly trails that exist back there.
For convenience, I run the 7-ish mile trail loop at Stone Mountain.

Kennesaw Mountain is a great area but I would avoid the visitor’s center and try the tails at Burnt Hickory or the Cheatham hill area. Both are really nice and less crowded than the Visitors Center. There are over 15 miles of trails throughout the Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield area.
Burnt Hickory is about 3 miles (if you take the W. Trail out to Dallas Hwy and back). At Cheatham (A-3 on the map) there is main 5 mile loop or there is also a 2.5 mile loop. All these loops run into each other at one point if you want to make it a long run.
