Definitely i will reward myself after a very hard, long race (such as a half marathon) and sometimes after long runs. I'm a big fan of the frozen yogurt at JP Licks in Boston and think it is a reasonable (not so much fat) treat.
While I love the idea of cake/frosting, desserts etc, I actually only indulge in these when I'm at work, at a party, with friends/families. I actually don't trust myself to keep high fat/high sugar foods at home :(. It is usually out of sight, out of mind, unless i'm on DM :).

Naughty Points - I rarely buy them to take home with me. Eating there is okay ;) And I try to stay away from the cakes / dessert trays / homemade treats at work. I do make exceptions for a certain someone's choco chip cookies!
Running - My friends and I always reward ourselves at our usual brunch place after big races. Well, for me, that's only once a year! It's become tradition now, and is a nice way to finish off the morning.
Swimming - I usually try to be good for a week or two before a swim meet, then reward myself afterwards. When possible, I'll buy it a day in advance so I know that there's something waiting for me when I get home. On a few occasions, I've even brought a cooler with me to the meet so I could indulge right after warming down :)

I don't treat myself everyday and when I do it's small bites here and there. I'm not much of a sweet-tooth, but I like anything with chocolate. I would pick and pinch when I see it. My taste buds tell me when I ate too much sugar, but does not tell me when I've eaten too much salty foods/snacks. I have no self control when it comes salty foods like chips, flavored crackers, etc.
