frosting or cake? which is it?

there's always someone who like the frosting more than the cake or the cake more than the frosting. if you had to choose between the two, which would it be.

for me, it's the frosting!

    For my kids..... It's all about the frosting. For me.... Both must be great! I don't like to have either alone...

    there has to be a perfect balance of the two. but if i could only have one, frosting. i used to eat it straight out of the tub. totally grossed out my college roomie :P

    This past weekend, I had something called a "bedroll". It looked like a jellyroll, but was walnut cake with cream cheese icing in lieu of jelly. Nice balance of cake and icing!

    I think my aunt makes something similar...she does coffee cake bedroll with sweetened butter, it's soooo good I miss it so much.
