I've been using Hal Higdon's 10K training plan since early November. I just finished week 5 of 8, and then I'll move on to the 10-week Runner's World 3-day Half Marathon training plan (3-day means 3 days a week, not "ready in 3 days" haha). It has worked really well for me so far, and really eased me into the whole "training 6 times a week" thing.
