2010 Disney Princess Half Marathon

I was looking at my calendar and realized that my 12 week race training plan starts next week! The race is sooner than I thought!

Anyone else using a 12 week plan? I'm doing a modified Hal Higdon - basically I need a plan to keep me motivated on my weekday treadmill runs (at least til the sun stays out longer in the evenings), but my weekend runs are just fine.

  • I've been using Hal Higdon's 10K training plan since early November. I just finished week 5 of 8, and then I'll move on to the 10-week Runner's World 3-day Half Marathon training plan (3-day means 3 days a week, not "ready in 3 days" haha). It has worked really well for me so far, and really eased me into the whole "training 6 times a week" thing.
