Welcome Patricia,
Wow I hope I can stay active well into 60's and 70's. I just started walking about 4 years ago, slowly progressed to running now I try to get 3 to 4miles in every night. It's not so much the running for me it's how I feel after.
See you on Dailymile......John H

I started running in my mid-thirties, and I've been doing something ever since, including aerobics, step, biking, etcetera. I'm lucky to have a few friends near my age who still exercise, but they've been dropping off, one by one. (Not passing away, just couching it.) I really, really enjoy being outside and pushing myself. I've had occasional knee problems, but nothing that's stopped me.
How about you guys?

I use a 3M Nexcare knee wrap sometimes if I have experience pain the day before, it seems to help physically and mentally when I have any soreness. I beat up my knee's real good when I was younger snow ski racing for several years. So far I have been lucky to not have any problems bad enough where I can not run, that would be bad for me "mentally".
