Things that go Grr! in the night!

Here in CT we are just getting black bears back, but in Vermont I ran close to an angry bear, or at least his loud growl seemed to imply, in the night that nearly caused my to leave some droppings of my own. Has any one else had adventures with wild animals?

  Agreed skunks suck. There are now Moose here in CT and that would be a run to remember if encountered on the trail. Hope you meet only good smelling kind creatures in your travels!

  I don't run trails at night without my trusty bear pepper spray in hand. Just remember - don't spray into the wind!
