    Favorite verse: (This one's a toughy, cuz there are like 6 or 7 verses in that book that I think are like really good. j/k ) So I'm gonna go with my favorite verse that includes running: Hebrews 12:1 "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us."

    [See? How hard WAS THAT?!?!?] That was surprisingly easy Michael! Thanks for practically writing it for me!

    In terms of my favorite running verses...that's a tough one man, as there are alot to choose from, as foot races were common even back in the first century, hence all the running metahpors/verses...but I like 2 (1) Phil 4:13 for the last few miles of a marathon or tough long run, and (2) Heb 12:1-2, which describes what I HOPE my daily run will be

    I'll tell you, that phrase "for the joy set before him" rocks me to my core when I couple it with what He endured here. As images from The Passion of the Christ come to my mind, that verse tells me that the joy that was set before Him ... was me. What an amazing love.
