Hi everyone. I live in Ames and I want to do the Dam to Dam 5k anyone else doing this? I am training for a HM and the Bix 7 in Davenport but want to add some 5k along the way to help me build up and prepare. If anyone is in ames let me know if you want to get together for a jog/run

  My buddy Chris, who lives in Ames, is most likely going to do it. I haven't talked to him in awhile but he did it last year.

  I am pretty sure I am going to do it this year too. I am hoping not to get too burned out with the HyVee tri training.

  For the record that Bix 7 race looks like pure torture.

  I went to Iowa State and am thinking about D2D, but I live in Kansas City now -- sorry! I've heard it's a good run, though, and kind of a killer in the last mile or two.
