DM Meet Ups + Fun Runs

If anyone wants to get a small group together of pace-alikes fun runs feel free to post your best days, time of days and locations and we'll coordinate!

    No doubt. Zach, Chris, and I have already done a run together I think it would be fun to do a large group run.

    I am down for a trail run. Would be a nice change of pace since I run street so much.

    I know of some good trails, although I am not that familiar with how to navigate those trails. I have run trails with a couple of different groups but I was never really doing any of the "Leading"

    BTW I am not sure if this will happen again this year, but Last year for New Years day I did a run up to the Hollywood sign (Griffith Park) with several different running groups involved.

    Like Eddie said... a few of us have done this a couple times already... I just saw via Garmin Connect that apparently there's another decent runner just down the street from me who ran to the Rose Bowl from where we live... just under 14 miles... that could be an interesting long run some day for a group of people... just gotta figure out logistics of getting back though... 'course we could always run back :-)

    To the Rose Bowl and back? Hardcore!!! 28mi day? Sweet! I am SO down for that. Plus the run to the Hollywood sign would be cool as well.
    As far as trails, an Ultrarunner I met at the Long Beach Marathon told me that near the 118 in and around Northridge are apparently some great trails. Somewhere in my bookmarks there is a link to great trails in the Los Angeles area but I am with Eddie, I couldn't lead anyone. I have zero experience on trails.

    HOLY CRAP 28 MILES IN A DAY?! I am definitely interested.

    January first to the Hollywood sign is a definite yes! I'll spread the word starting now!!!
