  I like the Santa Anita Derby 5K race in Arcadia. You start in the Santa Anita mall parking lot, run through the arboretum, and finish up on the derby tracks. I'm not sure it's the world's best ever, but I have fond memories of it.

  Also, I liked the Samurai 5K in Little Tokyo, but I'm not sure if that's even held anymore!
