Buying shoes in OKC

What kind of shoes do you run in? And where do you get them?

I like the Runner but feel like I need more of a selection. I've always ran in asics. Looking for somewhere else/other ideas! What do you think??

    Well, to be honest, I buy my shoes on-line from Running Warehouse (www.runningwarehouse.com). The prices can't be beat.

    Right now I am running in Mizuno Wave Rider 11's. THe 12's are out now but I like the 11's so much, I need to pick up another pair.

    Fleet Feet in Edmond has a nice selection if you are looking for something The Runner doesn't have.

    I ended up going to the Runner anyways. And I switched up my brand from the old faithful asics, now I'm tring Mizunos. :) So far so good!

    Next time I think I'll try Fleet feet.

    Which Runner do you go to? I love the one in Norman they have a good selection, and are always right about what I need for my feet. I picked up a pair of Brooks Addictions this weekend and the place was packed. No one has told OK that we are in a recession yet.

    I realize that you've already bought shoes, but I highly recommend Fleet Feet in Edmond - they are awesome! They take the time to fit you for the right kind of shoes, and let you test them out in the store or outside on the sidewalk. They even told me that if the shoes didn't work out for me, I had 30 days to bring them back and find something else. Maybe other stores do this as well, but it was a far different experience for me than previous times.
