iPhone GPS

Hi All,

I am the developer of the LogYourRun iPhone application which uses the GPS of the iPhone to track your distance. I have an iPhone 4 and my location data (see my profile) is about as good as what I get on my Garmin 350. The 3G and 3GS iPhones have slightly worse GPS reception - but still passable for a good measure of distance and route.

Hope you will give it a try - the app uses the Dailymile API so you can upload your activity with route, happy face and all the other data.

Tim

  • Can you tell me what the difference is between the free and the paid app? Thanks!

  • Sure, in the free app the function that shows your routes on the map within the app is deactivated after a week. You can still upload routes to LogYourRun and to Dailymile - but you will not be able to see them in the app. Also, the training program feature is disabled after a week.

The full application is on sale for December at $1.99 - so no reason not to get the full app.
