    Hi Vanessa... I'll be running at the James K. Polk 5k Saturday. I heard there should be about 500 runners there.

    I'm new to the Daily Mile site. Looks really nice. Good luck at the race!

    Wow... 5 years... must be a good one. It's the first for me. I'm still in my first year of running. Just started last September so I haven't repeated any yet but I'm sure I will unless I break a leg or something before then.

    I'm trying to run all of the RFYL Grand Prix races. Other than that I'm just seeing what looks interesting and is close enough to get to. I thought about the Bele Chere 5k in Asheville instead of the James K. Polk, but Pineville is closer and hopefully there are less hills!
