I did one a couple years ago.... We had a team of 8 and we did 331km (lol, just checked the conversion on that, same distance). It was a lot of fun. Will you be running all night? Are there mandatory brake time?
As for training plans, I basically modified a half marathon program but I took my long run distance, split it in half and did half Friday morning, half Friday evening, and then again Saturday morning. Does that make sense???
Here's what it would look like... The schedule said to do 20km long run, do
10km Friday morning
10km Friday evening
10km Saturday morning
then rest on Sunday.I didn't do that every week, but usually 2 or 3 week out of the month.
