Lindsey, I have watched the "Running the Sahara" (own it), and I love it. It is pretty intense. The movie isn't as inspiring as "The Spirit of the Marathon", but it still is quite amazing what three runners do.On the other hand, running almost two marathons a day for 111 days doesn't really compare to a marathon. I love both movies for slightly different reasons. My favorite part of the Sahara was when they found the boy in the middle of the desert at night. His parents were off finding water for two days. Also, I don't know if I could handle running throw the sand storm. Hope you enjoy it.

Lindsey - you should be able to rent the movie, by now. My wife and I saw Running the Sahara last year at the "World Premiere" in Greensboro - Charlie Engle lives here - and thougt it was amazing. We've seen Charlie speak a couple of times, he's very inspiring! The movie doesn't sugar-coat the adventure these guys went through, either physically or emotionally.
