Data export capability

posted 4 months ago | Report

I like to consolidate my information in a spreadsheet for my own review and also to share on my blog. I am a huge dailymile fangirl, but it'd be really, really nice to have export capabilities to .csv and/or .xls! Please make this possible!

  • I completely overlooked that. Thanks for pointing that out!

I did a test export and the data is wonky. Distance and time values are unrecognizable. For example, on 1/21/12 I did a cycling workout of 27.27 miles in a time of 1:41:14. The values in the .csv export are 43886 and 6074, respectively. How can I transform this to recognizable data? I'm pretty good with Excel, but I have no idea what conversion was made for the .csv export.

Additionally, it would be nice to have the unstructured data (i.e. "Where did you run?" and "How did it go?") paired with quantitative (distance/time data).

Time is in seconds and distance in meters. If you're looking for a more complete export we have an API http://www.dailymile.com/api
