well that's a little depressing thought my half marathon time correlated a little closer to a BQ. oh well more speedwork for me

Actually, from what I understand, if you can maintain your HF time while logging crazy weekly miles, you'll be closer to the MacMillan predictor than your average predictor, built according to the data of average people. I think most people training for marathons log about 50km a week.
