Questions about holding a 5k/ walk race?

I was wondering if anyone has or knows wher I could find info about holding a race? We were thinking of having one to help raise money for a school baseball team. Any info will be great

  I'm a race director in the Boston area, and also work for an online race registration company www.racemenu.com - shoot me a message with your email address and I can send you a word doc that a guy with USATF New England put together that has all the nuts and bolts info about race directing, from the big stuff to the small stuff ("don't forget the pins").
