New to DM and could use some movers and shakers to keep me going!!

I am just getting back into running. I ran in high school and a little bit after that, but that has been many, many moons ago. My main motivation right now is to keep a few steps ahead of my kids that seem to be growing up way too fast. Also, just to stay healthy. I teach and coach three sports so the competitive nature comes out and I want to run races and compete. My time is sparse so I have to get it in when I can....I'm not a morning runner!!! So any motivation and encouragement will be greatly appreciated!!

  • This is pretty much my frist year of running and I'm new to DM. Started running this year so I could do a triathlon...now I'm signed up for my first marathon in December!! FR on the way...Cheers!

    Good for you for getting back into it!

    Good luck with your training! I run when my kiddos are in bed at night.... not a morning person either! ;-p
