New to dailymile and looking for friends...

I've been a runner for quite some time. Have run many 5Ks, 10Ks, etc. Ran my first 1/2 in May which was quite a challenge and running my next at the end of Sept. Hoping to break 2:00 or possibly even 1:50. Looking for motivation and support and would love to help encourage and support others!

  • Hi Sharon:) I am a relatively new runner...trained with the couch 2 5K starting in February and have run 3 5K's with another scheduled for 8/25 and a 10K scheduled for 9/30. Love running and look forward to watching your training.

  • Welcome to DM. Congrats on your first HM. I did my first half in May as well in Fargo, ND. Also have my second coming up 9/29. Good luck with your east coast (that means you have hills :)) training.
