Newbie, looking for friends who sweat!

Hi, I just started using daily mile to track my workouts. But I've got a really sad number of friends here - zero! I would love some support, and inspiration.

About me: In the next 8 weeks I'm running 2 10-mile races and 2 half-marathons {maybe}. I'm just getting back into it after a hip/SI joint injury so we'll see how things go. I love running but only do it a few days a week because I'm injury prone, so I also swim a little. I used to love spin classes, but it does a number on my hip/SI joint. I'm interested in tri's but kinda freaked out about road cycling so who knows if I'll ever bite that bullet. I'm not a fast runner, but was making some steady gains in that department pre-injury. Now I'm just happy to be lacing up shoes again and I know I will start improving my speed eventually.

I currently live in the SW VA area but moving to DC in a few months.
