I couldn't tell you for sure specifically what the cause of your cramps is, but it could be something other than dehydration or overexertion, and it's a problem a lot of people have, which is that your stomach is responding to the physical trauma of running. You know, the jostling, up and down... this is where the term "runner's trots" (sorry) comes from. The woman who blogs at shutupandrun.net talks about this frequently. It's just another possibility.

No cramping during running only after?
What is your diet like?
If continues, maybe go for a GI Scan, just a thought
