I've heard that taking a week off will not hurt your running fitness. Is that true?

I have had slight knee pain since my long run Saturday but it is feeling better. I can't decide if I should run tomorrow or wait till my 10K race Saturday. I will be starting marathon training next week.

  • I like to stay loose before my races so I usually get a mile or two in the day before my races. I never push myself though, I just like to know I can run before race day:)

    It depends on your knee pain though, if it needs time off take it.
