Looking for olympic distance tri in NY, NJ, PA, CT area

posted about 2 years ago | Report

Trying to pick an Olympic Distance Tri for the summertime - needs to be in July or Aug. I've already done NYC Triathlon, and Philadelpha Triathlon, and trying to find a different race in driving distance from NYC. So far, I've only come up with New Jersey State Triathlon, but the bike portion is only 23.5 miles??? Is a non 40k distance common in olympic tri's? I also saw the Pittsburgh Tri, but that's kind of too far for me this year. Westchester and Mighty Hamptons are too late in the season, as I don't want a race too close to Chicago Marathon on 10/10.

Anyway, any other suggestions would be welcome!

Thanks.

Old Colony YMCA Triathlon - July 11 - Middleboro, MA
    International - S: 1mi B: 24mi R: 6mi

Litchfield Hills Triathlon - August 22 - New Hartford, CT
    Olympic - S: 1mi B: 23.8mi R: 6.2mi

Cranberry Country Triathlon - August 29 - Lakeville, MA
    Olympic - S: .9mi B: 24.9mi R: 6.2mi
