I'm game! I'm not a triathlete, though... *just* a swimmer who does a little running here and there. I hope you don't count that against me ;)

I am an injured runner who swims, but I don't do any workouts perse. I just swim as much as I can, on non working days its a mile. On days after work its as much as I can do (I work nights so I get tired pretty easily in the morning...)
So you can feel free to add me as a friend, but I am not sure you are interested in just seeing that I swim laps! no intervals, or anything like that...answered over 1 year ago |Report

This is my favorite workout:
Warm up: 800 SKPS (200 swim, 200 kick, 200 pull, 200 swim)
Main set: 8 x 75 as: first 25 drill (or IM order), 50 free
100 kick on back no board, alternate flutter and dolphin
6 x 100 on 1:40 (or 80% with 5 sec rest in between)
100 kick on back no board, alternate flutter and dolphin
2 x 50 tiger sprints (one length no breathing/underwater easy, 2nd length sprint hard)
Cool down: 200 choiceTotal: 2600m
