Got the brush off from Garmin customer service re: busted 405, thinking of switching to Nike+

My 405's battery drained while in training mode, locking the watch in an endless restart cycle. Garmin customer service, while aware of the design flaw, told me good luck because the warranty had expired. I paid for warranty replacement for the same problem in December.

Well, even though I've owned four Garmin, they have lost my trust. If I purchase a new Garmin watch and it turns out to be a lemon, then they could abandon the product again like they have with the 405.

So, I'm considering a Nike Sportwatch.
