What do you take to replenish salt during long runs?

To curb the effects of calf cramping, I adopted a couple of strategies to mitigate the issue. I'm wondering what other things I could try that would help. For me, I start to feel the cramps around mile 16. Here is what I have tried so far:

1. Switched from Gatorade to Zico cconut water because Gatorade has too much sugar. I tried Fluid nutritional drinks, but I wasn't a fan of the flavor.
2. Run with Hammer Endurolytes instead of salt packets. sucking on straight salt is nasty.
3. I do use GU gels for energy, but I'm not sure if that helps with the cramping problems

Any other things I could try on those long runs that would help? Comments are greatly appreciated.
