My Garmin chest band is too big and keeps falling down. What are some ways to make the band smaller?

I'm assuming you've already adjusted the strap using the sliders to it's smallest size?
Garmin makes a small version of their strap. https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=13869
Alternatively you could also double a bit of the fabric onto itself and tack sew it. That should take an inch or two out of it.

Mine is too big too. I just tuck it up into my bra and it stays fine.

Mine too! My Garmin is also too big for my wrist so I have to wear a sweatband under it which makes it really comfortable. As for the chest strap, they sell a smaller version but I just use the standard one and a large safety pin to take up some slack. I put it in an area where I wouldn't notice it and it doesn't bother me at all.

For women, I think they make bras where you can put the HRM right in the bra, in a little custom-made pocket at the bottom. Heck, that sounds more comfortable than a strap, maybe I should get one! :-D
