You can try the run - but, you better listen to your body. If you can run slower and maintain no pain, heck, go for it, is my opinion, but, if you start feeling a steady pain...stop. It won't hurt you to take the day as a rest day and plan your 11 mile run for later in the week if possible!!!!!! If it happened to me, and it has, I tend to get the long run done, but go much slower than usual.
