This week I missed my mileage by about 7 miles and I'm schedule to run a 15 miler this weekend should I be worried about

the miles I've missed this week? I ran 14 miles last week but I had at least 3 days of consistent 7 miles each day. This week I did a 3, 4, and 2 mile days.

  • I wouldn't be worried. You'll probably feel a little better than usual for this run. My only concern would be that if you're increasing the distance of your long runs, and you run regular mileage before your next long run, then that run might be tougher.

  • no worries. Sometimes we get so caught up in sticking with the schedule that we lose sight of the journey. You will be fine! Time on your feet is just as important for the long runs.
