Not Crohns,But I had Ulcerative Colitis A very similar disease For over 20 years, mostly controlled by drugs Managed to keep running although tough at times. During acute spells I had to rest. In 1998 it progressed into Bowel Cancer & necessitated, a major operation to remove all of my large bowel resulting in a permanent ileostomy, followed by chemotherapy. So no Bowel = no Bowel disease. Now 3 years down the line if feel better than I have done for years

I was diagnosed with Crohns 3 years ago. I do pretty good at pushing through to continue running. I have opted against meds although the pain is getting to me and causing me to really loose weight so I am going through more testing so that maybe I can find something to help me.
