next generation of shoes?

I have shoes that I love. Saucony progrid omni 9-if it matters. I was going to get some new shoes, and I noticed they now have the Omni 10. My question is, do these eveolutions stay pretty close to the generation before or are they basically total revamps with a new name?

  Usually you will find the generations staying close together. I run in Mizuno's Wave Creation. I have the 12 and went to look at the 13s the other day. They changed just a little in the heal region. There will be some modifications, but probably not significant.
