Bone spurs

posted 12 months ago | Report

Anyone had to deal with bone spurs on top of the foot???

  • Check your shoes. Running and non running. Most of the time spurs are caused by ill fitting shoes.
    1. ice it 4-5 times a day. If that doesn't help then switch to heat.
    2. take some warm linseed oil, dip a cheese cloth in it and apply on the affected area. Cover the cloth with plastic and put a heating pad over it and let it stay for 1-2 hours
    3. there is an herb, cucurmin, take about 500-1500 mg of it on an empty stomach, 3-4 times a day. Use a flaxseed hot pack to the area.It helps to take certain painkillers to lessen the pain as well.Talk to your doc about those. If the pain becomes too much, you might want a corticosteroid injection to help you. Talk to your doc about the herbs too. Make sure you are allergic or taking something else that might have a reaction...
    4. you might need surgery :(

Have you talked to a doctor yet?
