Anyone know of a good podcast that I can download for cycling? I'm looking for something that will help with my cadence and overall training.

  • Tangerine for Mac. Analyze your itunes library and build playlist based on bpm. Approximate RPM by dividing BMP by 1/2. Enjoy.

  • If you mean by cycling, riding on a trainer or exercise bike, you might try CCR or some of the 60's or 70's rock groups with a steady beat, If by cycling, you mean riding your bike on the streets, then common sense tells you that you need your ears to listen to what is going on around you, especially traffic and not worry about cadence. Safety on a bike trumps training every time.

The mixes are 1 hour long, and the bpm is in the title of the mixes. I use em all the time! They are awesome!

  • Try VeloBeats, podcasts of mixes specifically designed for cycling, focusing on a training pace cadence. Best part is it is free.

  • BTW, a good podcast if you want to listen to something cycling-oriented whilst doing the dishes etc. is The Bike Show (thebikeshow.net). It's a weekly radio show with a focus on cycle touring and the lifestyle in general.

  • I listen to Cycling 360. I found them on iTunes last year. They release new podcasts frequently and cover all kinds of topics. Such as nutrition, clothing, aero wheels, upgrades, riding in groups, etc. It is geared towards cyclists in general, with emphasis on racing, triathlons, and distance touring.
