Any feedback on the *INSANITY* workout?

asked about 2 years ago | Report

I recently saw an infomercial for a video workout called INSANITY. I was VERY intrigued as it is supposed to work your body very hard in about an hour a day for 60 days and you will get great results (according to the before and after pictures). I was just wondering if anyone had tried this or knew anything more about it before I purchased.

  • Great Cardio workout. I'm half way through the 60 days and have really enjoyed it. I'm no where close to doing 100% of each of the DVDs but am still making great gains in strength and endurance. I do as much of each exercise as I can and then rest a bit until the next exercise. First couple of weeks is a little over-whelming but stay focused and push a little bit more each time and very quickly you gain confidence and really start to enjoy the "Insanity" -David

  • Insanity is a wonderful workout it is good because you use your own body to work out. I personally am doing P90X right now but I too want to do the Insanity workout. I am a coach with Beachbody if you guys have any questions I can find them out or help you very fast. http://www.beachbodycoach.com/esuite/home/vanessatkb77 is my website. Let me know if you decide to purchase the program and how it goes for you!

  • Definitely agree with all of you! I'm a little more than halfway through the Insanity workouts, and when I finish in July, I'll adapt P90X into 180 days (P180X I call it) to train for the Disney Marathon in 2011.

Like the last poster, I am a Team Beachbody Coach, and I invite any of you to go to my website at www.goofyfitnessdad.com to read my reviews. I've posted a blog review every day of the workout from the day I started, and made some comments on how I mixed in my runs with Insanity.

    Enjoy, and DIG DEEPER Y'ALL!

  • I'm working my way up to Insanity...Dont think I could finish it at this point. I'm doing Power 90, then P90x and will try Insanity then.

Good luck. Keep us posted if you decide to take the plunge!

  • My hubby and I did the lean (It is a branch off the Insanity) and we lost 30 lbs, each in 30 days. It did what it said it was going to. We have faith in it. You stick to the routine and follow the book and you'll get results! This fall we are going to start the Insanity, REALLY EXCITED!
