  • 11 years ago I began the Marathon journey to offset my beer drinking with massive running mileage (not gain weight).

Now, however, I drink an occassional beer (only before a rest day) to offset the massive running mileage (liquid carbs).

In the off season I plan to run with the local hash house harriers to bring balance back to my running/beer universe.

  • Do some research on good recovery drinks. Everyone tries to sell you their own special brand, but chocolate milk is at the top of the list, and beer isn't that far down it either.
