11 years ago I began the Marathon journey to offset my beer drinking with massive running mileage (not gain weight).
Now, however, I drink an occassional beer (only before a rest day) to offset the massive running mileage (liquid carbs).
In the off season I plan to run with the local hash house harriers to bring balance back to my running/beer universe.
