I'm looking into the Kinetic ones myself. Might have to wait until after the holidays though. Unless I decide to be selfish and get myself a killer gift. Hahaha.

I got a CycleOps Fluid. It works well. If you really want to improve your handling skills and pedal stroke look into some rollers.

I have the CycleOps Fluid Trainer. I like it a lot. It seems to be quite durable. I say "seems" because I haven't had it all that long. But as a reasonably heavy rider, it is very solid and works well for me. The cost was also an appealing aspect of the CycleOps Fluid trainer.
On a side note, I haven't used rollers so I can't give you any kind of comparison.
