In the old days all we had were tubulars. I
I've never understood why people want the lightest and best ride quality for training rides? Why don't you wait and keep the performance benefit for race day?

Training on tubulars is a waste of time (and money). Train on clinchers, get good and fast on those and then when you switch to tubs for a race you will feel like you are flying!
