Garmin Connect will not Sync

I keep trying to sync my garmin connect and it says that it couldn't find any devices to sync with even though I have my garmin 110 plugged into the USB drive

  • Currently we don't sync with the 110 or 210. We hope to have this soon.

  • I am glad I saw this, although I am very bummed now! I have been driving myself crazy for a few hours trying to get my new Garmin 110 to sync. When will this be offered as a feature?

  • It's been months with no support and no repsonse on when it will be supported. Time to move on to another tracking site I guess.

  • I think I am done too. It's a free service and I am sure they are doing the best they can, but I don't think they are going to fix this. That's what I gathered when i checked from the other end with garmin. Plus, the electric
    Mile app drained my itouch battery until I tool it back off. I am using this converter:http://www.awsmithson.com/tcx2nikeplus/
    You can google how to use it. I use it to convert my garmin runs to Nike+. from there you can upload to dailymile if you so desire (since all your garmin data is on Nike). I don't bother with that though.

  • Just found this out today. Recently got a new 210 and apparently we can't use it here on Dailymile? Any updates on this?

  • I synched up with my 305 after a half marathon last Sunday, but haven't tried synching up this week until today, and it is not synching. Very frustrating.

  • my understanding is that there is no support for any of the newer garmin models and there are no plans to include them.

  • I found this article/blog post from Dailymile about the Garmin 110 - according to it you can sync - does anyone know if this is actually possible?

  • Finally got a solution from Garmin. I can't attach the file but if I have your email I can attach it.
    Instructions below.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Garmin International.
    1. Save the file to: Windows 7 and Vista: C:\Users\(your user)\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Devices\Unit id folder for the customer's device or XP: Documents and Settings\(your user)\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Devices\Unit id folder for the customer's device
    2. Click Copy and Replaced when prompted to replace the existing Garmindevice.xml file
    3. Download the current software update at https://buy.garmin.com/shop/store/downloadsAgree.jsp?product=010-00741-00&cID=142&pID=27335
