Kilometers or Miles

I haven't been to dailymile for long, howvever I like it very much.
There is one thing that disturbs me, as a European I'm used to do everything in metric so that means Kilometers, Meters etc.. But when I create a Group with say two members (who are both metric) it still shows me the total in Miles....weird. Or if I just surf around other members some Numbers are in Miles some in Kilometers ( I don't mean those mentioned in the text).
Couldn't it be possible to put all the Distances in that unit that User (who logged in) chose in his Profile? Just the "official" Numbers that dailymile uses to show Leaderboards etc.? Some work some don't..

    Bump. I agree with Reto. It would be less confusing to have all distances displayed according to the logged-in user's settings.

    Yes whata bout this?!
    I dont want to have pounds and inches and what not som where in the application, when i have kilometers...

    Any answers on this, is the makers/administrators read here, or do i have to post these kin of questions somewhere else?
