Can't change location

I can't change my location from settings any more. If I enter a city, Munich in this case, after the post, the field is "Munchen, DE", but an error highlights the form field saying that the location could not be found.

Is there a problem with cities outside the US?

  Have the exact same problem with Nea Makri, Greece - changes to Νέα Μάκρη, GR but nothing happens afterwards except the error highlighting and location can not be found issue :(
